broadcast from the New York Stock Exchange. Company executives outlined
their vision and strategy for the future, and unveiled a host of simply
smarter products designed to address new work styles and simplify
workplace communications. A particular focus of the web event, which
included customers, analysts and partners, were discussions outlining
the changing communication needs of business professionals and their
evolving work environments; a shift that has created the greatest
business opportunity for Plantronics in the company’s history.

Virtual Launch from the New York Stock Exchange
Kannappan will host a live web
event at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time on May 18 detailing the unified
communications market opportunity and unveiling several new products
including Savi® 740, Plantronics’ first headset that connects to a
deskphone, mobile phone and computer to streamline communications. Also
new with the Savi 740 is a more versatile streamlined style – business
professionals can wear this headset over the head with a headband, using
the ear loop, or behind the head with a neckband which provides webcam
friendly options for video conference calls.
Jeff Schick, vice president of Social Software at IBM, will discuss the
unified communications market and the IBM Plantronics partnership, as
well as its new software plug-in, and Steve Rubinow, CIO of the New York
Stock Exchange, will share insights on communication trends. Plantronics
50th anniversary celebrations at the New York Stock Exchange will
