First Headset with up to Five Months DeepSleep Battery Life
Plantronics
(NYSE: PLT) today announced the launch of the M25™
and M55™
Bluetooth headsets featuring a groundbreaking battery readiness of up to
five months. This is an ideal offer for users who need their handsets to
be ready at any time without having to constantly worry about battery
power.
DeepSleep™ technology activates when the headset is away from the phone
for more than 90 minutes. When the phone and headset are back in range,
tap the “call” button to “wake” the headset up; this feature is ideal
for users that often leave their headset in the car.
Peter Petrides, National Sales Manager of Plantronics Australia said,
“The M25 and M55 are quite simply the easiest headsets to use if you’re
transitioning from wired to a wireless and don’t want to be charging
your headset all the time. We understand it can be inconvenient at
times, having to remember to charge so many devices, and for a novice
user, the built-in intelligence surrounding power-management makes the
M25 and M55 headsets ready and charged when you are.”
