PHILIP VANHOUTTE AWARDED FOR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AT CCA ANNUAL GALA DINNER AND AWARDS
Royal Wootton Bassett, UK – 14 November, 2013 - Plantronics (NYSE: PLT) Yesterday evening, Philip Vanhoutte received the 2013 Lifetime Achievement award from the CCA (Customer Contact Association), at their annual gala dinner and awards ceremony.
Plantronics has worked closely with the CCA since 1994, achieving accreditation to the CCA global standard in 2010. In the same year Plantronics also won the CCA Innovation award and was a shortlist finalist for the CCA’s Great Place to Work award in 2012.
With a rich UK and international contact centre background, including senior roles at Dell, MCI WorldCom and Ericsson, since joining Plantronics 10 years ago, Philip has been a strong supporter of the work of the CCA. Philip has been a regular presenter at CCA events, a participant in round table discussions and an evangelical visionary on the future shape of Contact Centres. Philip is also a member of the CCA Special Advisor group, an invite-only team of seasoned business experts who have helped the CCA develop as a leading industry body.
