Four new products enable collaboration and call clarity in open office environments
and on-the-go work scenarios
London, UK - 5th February 2015 -- Plantronics (NYSE: PLT) today unveiled four new UC (unified communication) audio devices designed to deliver exceptional audio quality and noise management technology to help people effectively communicate and collaborate, regardless of workplace or location. These new offerings are comprised of the Blackwire 725, the company’s first UC stereo headset with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) for those people who want to stay focused in noisy office environments; the Voyager Edge UC, the latest product in the Voyager family of Bluetooth headsets aimed at workers constantly on the road; the Calisto 610, a portable speakerphone for instant anywhere conferencing, and the Clarity 340, designed for those who face vision, hearing, or dexterity challenges. Now, workers in the office and on the road have tools they can use to control outside noise that allow them to hear as well as be heard clearly.

The company’s first UC product with Active Noise Cancelling technology (ANC), provides a corded option at a very affordable price for office workers who need to hear and be heard. The Blackwire 725 is ideal for managing PC calls and enjoying music and multimedia with dynamic hi-fi sound. Also, with the combination of wideband audio, Digital Signal Processing and a noise cancelling microphone, incoming calls and your voice are both crystal clear.
Voyager Edge UC:
New wearing style for mobile UC users who need to be heard and want to use their Bluetooth® enabled communications devices (laptop, smartphone or tablet) together. The solution includes a small Bluetooth USB dongle that provides seamless wideband audio to your laptop. The latest addition to the Voyager line features a slim, sophisticated design that fits quickly and comfortably in your ear and comes with its own portable charging case. It boasts signature Plantronics audio technology that eliminates disruptive background noise and includes intuitive, responsive features that keep you moving by automatically answering calls as you place it on your ear.
Calisto 610:
Corded USB speakerphone that provides users the ability to easily create on-to-go conference calls for small groups of people. It enables workers to hear remote participants with high-quality, omni-directional audio, in an easy-to-carry form factor that integrates easily with a softphone of their choice, all at the price of a basic speakerphone; includes carrying case.
Clarity 340:
Designed for knowledge workers with vision, hearing, or dexterity challenges, the Clarity 340 handset-style phone features amplified sound, an easy-to-read screen, large buttons for dialing, and crisp audio. With Clarity 340, now everyone can fully participate and benefit from UC solutions.
Pricing and Availability
The Voyager Edge UC, Blackwire 725, and Calisto 610 are immediately available. The Clarity 340 will be available in March. MSRP for Voyager Edge UC is €149 / £119, Blackwire 725 is €179 / £139, Calisto 610 is €99 / £79 and Clarity 340 is €149 / £119.
