  • Astronauts aboard each one of the 10 manned Gemini missions and 11 manned Apollo missions flew with Plantronics headsets.
  • On July 20, 1969, the first words from the surface of the moon were delivered to the world through a Plantronics headset: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
